I'm so excited! We booked a cruise today for February!!
Headed to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize City, and Isla Roatan (Honduras). Trey will be vacationing in Venice (Florida, not Italy) with the Grandparents. I'll try to do a daily travel blog like I attempted to for Key West, except hopefully this time I'll finish it! I've been looking all over for info on the cruise (I really like to know what to expect when I go somewhere-spontaneity is not my strong suite) and have only found one blog so far with details. This person is like me too, lots of descriptions and photos of food! I'm all about a complete vacation! Until then, I am counting down the days until Christmas, when we are headed south to see my sister and then the rest of the family. If I ever find my camera cord again, I'll upload some pictures of this summer, we were busy! Chicago in June, Sept, and November, U2 concert, girls weekend in Fremont, Halloween Brunch and Trey's first Trick or Treat, etc. Coming up in the next few months-OSU v. Michigan party at our house, Thanksgiving, Holiday Stamp-a-stack, Compound Christmas, Bizarre Bazaar, Lights before Christmas, and then onto ATL and FLA!

Dawn of Trey-Tiffin Fair
This one was a memorial race in honor of my grandfather, Dan H. Lease. My aunt Kathy got to keep the blanket from the winner's circle.

I like this show
You gotta love LIFETIME. Awesome B-rated movies, Golden Girls reruns....and now this:
I DVR'd this (Drop Dead Diva) the other night and watched it and it's pretty good. A little sappy in some areas-but hey! It's Lifetime! It gives me a little PG-13 to my all R-rated summer viewing of True Blood, Hung, Entourage, and Intervention. Intervention may not be truly R-rated but I don't really want my adorable 2 year old asking me what those people are doing with that piece of tin foil and a straw. I remember asking my mom what that was while I was watching a movie at their house when I was in college and she was like "Thank God you didn't know what that was!" LOL.

Crazy little thing called TRAVEL
Brad and I just got back from a whirlwind OHIO trip. Trey got to go to Grandmere and Poppy's and had a great time picking strawberries, swimming, and going to the park.
We headed down to Cincinnati on Friday, stopping at Jeffersonville Outlets (I am addicted to PotteryBarn Kids...nothing seemed appealing to me there this time though, possibly because my husband was with me poo-pooing my choices), a branch of my business to tour a plant in Hamilton, and Jungle Jims. We ended the days drive in Park Hills, KY, to stay with Brandi and Brian, had some wine and a nice dinner.
The next morning we headed down to Louisville. If you know my husband, he is non-stop and this weekend was no exception. We squeezed in a walk to the riverfront, a trip to Churchill Downs and the famed Kentucky Derby Museum, a Ghost Tour, a trip to a winery, and finally visited the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory. We also went to a movie, The Hangover, which we drove to INDIANA to see!!! Oh and did I mention we were there for my work? So we also managed to set up a trade show booth and attend a show. Yesterday, on the way home, we detoured to Fremont to pick up Trey and to see one of my best friends, Fred, who happened to be in town from Jacksonville. After dinner with him, we finally ended up in Cleveland at about 11:00 where I unpacked and started the laundry. LOL. Least to say, I am exhausted!!
Now I am at the office trying to get caught up on some things so I can ditch out early and run home and repack my suitcase to head to CHICAGO tomorrow for a girls weekend. I am totally looking forward to it, but I'm not sure if I'm going to make it....I'll let you know after the Segway Tour, Kayacking Trip, and Scavenger Hunt!! Until then...

A New Passion
Anyone that knows me, knows I am always making something, doing something, going somewhere. I love being busy! I have recently started poking around on ETSY.COM. It is my new crack! I can't believe all the wonderful stuff on there. People are so creative. And then I saw this! I bought the patterns to make these from buggabugs.
I already made pancakes with a pat of butter last night. I left them on the table on one of Trey's plates and when he came down for breakfast, he said "Pancake!" and tried to take a bite, so I guess they turned out pretty good. I'm going to try my hand at some fried eggs tonight!
